It was a boring day at school. I have free time and nothing to do important.
So, I decided to visit the school library. It was not a big one; only a couple thousand books. Most of these are textbooks. Few were religious and others are self-help books. Few are personal development books and others are novels.
There I found a small book which was written in plain language. The name of the book caught my interest; “The Power of Positive Thinking for Young People” written by Norman Vincent Peale.
I went through some pages of the book while sitting there. As I read some pages it looked interesting to me. So, I decided to read the book till the last page.
I picked it up and brought it home. It became more and more interesting as I read more and more pages. Within few days I finished it. The book taught me many practical lessons to remains positive in every situation of life.
After completing it for the first time, I decided to read it for another time. This time I kept a dictionary to fully understand every concept and idea. I learned a lot of practical steps to improve my life. I became happier and started enjoying every moment of my life.
It proved to be the main turning point of my life. With practical lessons, I also developed an interest in reading books. Before this, reading books was the most boring hobby in the world to me. But this specific book changed my concept. At that time it was the best book in the world for me.
I started reading more books on different niches. The first year I only completed 5 books. But in the next two years, I read more than 50 books. This was a massive change. I spent a large part of my income on books.
I used to take notes of important points when I was reading the books for the second and the third time. While jotting down the points I also started writing ideas in my own words.
Some later days I used to go through the notes I have written earlier. The ideas and points looked interesting to me. I have got an idea. These may be interesting to others too. So, why not write for the readers. Why not try writing.
I started writing paragraphs, essays, and articles but hesitated to give them to anyone to read. I then thought about writing blogs. On the internet, not many people knew me. That way I could avoid any embarrassment or direct critics of readers.
This is how I started writing blogs. I hope you will find my blogs interesting and helpful.
I will continue writing in the future with your support. Thank you for reading.
Its amazing ... waiting for your new publish
